About Us

“we realized that gw’s students needed an organization that consolidates the variety of consulting resources offered by both the school and external firms. we created ucg so our peers were more aware of how to catalyze not only professional but also personal growth.”

- Adam bendell, co-founder

The GW Undergraduate Consulting Group (UCG) was founded in 2014 when several students noticed the lack of a core resource for learning about consulting. Over ten years, UCG has built a foundation of tools and services for both Revolutionaries and clients. Today, we focus on three pillars for success: development, application, and results; click on each segment to learn more.

Testimonials

  • “Wanting more exposure to the consulting industry, I applied to the GW Undergraduate Consulting Group. Within a week of my acceptance, the executive board set up an information session for my class, hosted by recruiters from a prominently ranked firm. I was able to utilize information from their presentation in my application to successfully secure an interview. I am now waiting to hear back from them after a final round.”

  • “When I first joined UCG, I knew very little about consulting and the networking process. UCG’s New Member Development Trainings taught me what I needed to know to be successful during recruitment. Their recruiter meet-and-greets are super helpful, and I don’t know of another club at GW that has these events for undergraduate students."
